The Directory of IRC Users
Welcome to the Directory of IRC Users. The Directory is currently being constructed and will be fully completed in the next few weeks. This is Phase 3 of the implementation - you can now login and update the information you submit as well as perform a quick search of the Directory and email users from the Directory. A fuller search facility has now been added, the next stage will be to implement the browse feature of the Directory. If you would like to see anything else then feel free to suggest it.
Why?
Why would you want to register? What good would it do you? This directory is not a replacement for IRC, it is not an ICQ-style service - it's aim is to help IRC users locate other users on IRC. You know someone's nick but don't know what channels they go on? Simply type in their nick and if they are on the directory you can find them. You want to know who goes on a particular channel? Simple, just search for that channel. You want to find people with the same interests as you? Simple, just search the interests field. The more people registered, the better this Directory becomes.
